I guess we’ll be called Yeller

We are Yeller. We are a few friends in the Golden Hill neighborhood that felt there was a need to be filled in the San Diego community and art scene. After a few beers at Hamilton’s, and discussions of our ideas for this project, Yeller was formed. Although…it wasn’t called Yeller at first. We actually went through a few names, and even pulled out a scrabble board hoping its letters held the answer to our quest. While the name of our group came as a bit of an afterthought, our goals were pretty clear.While San Diego has many artists, the art scene undeniably is a bit lacking. There also seemed to be a large gap between our peers and any financially attainable art in local galleries. Yeller’s solution is to create financially affordable art, while giving local artists a presence in the community. We’ve got a garage turned studio and lots of gusto to form these musings into a reality. We are hoping to hold an opening exhibition sometime soon to debut our new work, and new project. Yeller is also committed to having an online selling platform where people can purchase our work, and view past projects. Here we go!!
