After emerging from 10,000 years of slumber, the essence known as Tyler Cristobal awoke as a cloud of mist from the bowels of a National City garbage heap. In search for carne asada fries and frozen yogurt he stumbled across a pale and pudgy lad in which his spirit entered and has remained ever since. Living in the human world, Tyler has learned many of the pitfalls of man but has also learned to enjoy life’s simple pleasures like riding bikes and creating things with his pale and pudgy human hands.

“Christina Liu was thrown into this world via the black market. Her mother was part of the Chinese Mafia known as the Triads, killed in an underground gambling raid, Christina was orphaned by the Head gangster Liu Hongum. Growing up in a dark world, she has seen and dealt death with her own hands. Wanting to turn her life around she came to America wanting to learn a trade so she studied art and has killed the canvas ever since” — Travis Ripley, Biographer

Michael Tussey was born in San Diego and has lived nowhere else. He pretends to be a graphic designer, but is a librarian at heart. Michael appreciates fine ale, fine food and fine art. He enjoys longboarding and jazz, but draws inspiration from neither. He has attended the San Diego Comic Con annually for seventeen years. As a boy, Michael told his neighborhood pals he would rather play video games than involve himself with girls. He wishes he could remain a kid forever.

Clarke Forrest has been making weird stuff for several years now, occasionally wears glasses and has a regular boy’s haircut. His multiple higher education degrees vary in practicality and repute, but allow him to work at an architectural firm in San Diego. Clarke’s uncanny inability to focus and wide spectrum of interests have shown him the hidden joy and humor of our surroundings, while his work represents his frantic attempts to document this joy however he can.

Lindsay Preston is an illustrator and graphic designer from sunny San Diego. After receiving a BA in graphic design, she continues to do freelance design and illustration while pursuing work in contemporary museum art education at the New Children’s Museum and the Contemporary Museum of SD. She is inspired by shapes and patterns; in nature, in foreign cultures, and in human action. Lindsay enjoys drawing things and people, riding her Centurion bike around town, making things, reading out loud, collecting records and objects, and hearing people use phrases like “as the crow flies.”
