We are headed out to the desert this weekend for some last minute monster inspiration.

Heads…

& feet.

One of several slimy, sweating beasts I’ve created.

Can I please have a tissue and a large can of beer?

He’d like a cup of tea and a bickie.

I’ve been using elements from old screen prints to add limbs to some new monsters…

A native of California and raised in the tough bosom of San Diego. Jennifer was one day sunbathing and was splashed by a giant tsunami. As she awoke from the shock of the wave attack an Australian man had fallen on her. 6 months later she’d conceived a puggle named Angus and the Australian man (Vincent) and herself were happily married. Jenny loves unicorns, watching monster trucks and chicken nuggets.

A native of Australia but now living in the USA. Vincent was one day on a beach in his homeland and suddenly washed up by a giant tsunami. He awoke on a beach in San Diego on a woman named Jennifer. She conceived a puggle named Angus and they were happily married. When he’s not working, he’s making battle scenes with fruit & tooth picks, drawing, and watching TV shows about haunted houses.

Kids come up with some of the most creative monsters. Its getting down to crunch time and I’m im starting to really crank out some arts. Im beginning to think back to all the things I used to come up with when I was a weird little kid, and as a weird adult, I am really enjoying myself.

Light the way…
